This is a superb 19th Century antique Neoclassical X Frame stool in the Empire style.
The stool has relatively new upholstery and the show wood is carved and gilded in the classical style.
It provides great display space and because it fits into any room, it doesn't take up too much floor space.
It would make a beautiful gift or addition to your collection.
