Description
This is an antique newspaper rack. An English, oak and brass magazine or letter stand by Samuel Heath, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Appealing Victorian stand, ideal for the morning paper or periodical. Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. Select oak shows fine grain interest and rich caramel hues. Brass rails graced with fine golden tones and gently domed curvature. Supported at each corner upon four squat bun feet.
Maker's engraving to base reads S.H. & S - Samuel Heath and Sons
