Antique Oil Painting Still Life with Dahlias Signed C1890

For sale is this lovely oil painting on wood panel of a still life with flowers; dahlias, I believe. It is signed lower right by the artist and I would guess that from the name that the painting is either French or Belgian in origin. I would estimate it was painted around 1880 to 1890. It is framed in a hand-made wood frame which measures about 35 by 40 centimeters at the extremities. Total weight is about 909 grams. The condition of the painting is good with no holes or breaks. Some minor scratching and wear to both painting and frame. It's a lovely picture by a talented artist and presents very well.
