Description
On offer is this antique chatelaine scent bottle dating circa 1900. The bottle has a cylindrical shape and stands approx. 5.5cm in height. The bottle is covered in leather with unmarked but tested sterling silver mount and screw top lid. The lid and mount have attractive repousse and chased decoration. The lid has cork liner for a water tight seal. Attached to the silver mount at the shoulders is a suspensory chain and ring so that the bottle could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The chain is not silver.
Offered in good condition with normal light age and usage signs.
