Scottish oak stocks present superb grain interest, accentuated with wisps of medullary rays. Displays a warm, caramel tone and lightly aged patina consistent with period character. Graceful domed crest rail rises proudly above the distinctively shaped back rest. Adorned with a fascinating fretwork centre, the back splat hosts a circular motif. Bobbin turned finials and scroll motif add visual interest to the back rest. Wide seat squab set at a comfortable height of 44cm (17.25''), offering practicality alongside aesthetic appeal. Attractive cabriole legs to the fore with a serpentine shaped apron. Legs terminate in delightful tapering feet with carved scroll detail.
