Signed with artist's monogram, MB.
Oil on canvas. Gilt gesso frame.
Depicts Scottish crofters, all wearing tam o'shanters, transporting sheep in a rowing boat across a loch.

Tatty condition, commensurate with age - various superficial marks & scratches, a large area of paint loss in the middle, some knocks to and pieces missing from gesso frame but all part of its charm and character.
Priced accordingly.
Best described as shabby chic. Please do satisfy yourself as to the condition before buying - thanks.
Nevertheless, really interesting subject matter - so unique.
