This impressive Regency jar stand is made with Sheffield plate (silver plate on copper) and contains three hand blown and cut glass jars with all the original star cut lids. The holder is made in slender reeded construction with plate base stand. All components are the original.

Wessex House Antiques has clarified that the Antique Sheffield Plate Jar Stand c.1815 (LA121442) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being c.1815
condition
The stand is in very good condition with just slight wear to the plate showing the attractive copper underneath. One jar has a bubble burst to the side (present since manufacture) and all else is in very good condition. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this handsome piece.
