Description
Here we have a beautiful Chester assayed silver vesta case with a rose gold cartouche.
It is beautifully engraved with foliate work throughout.
Possibly by Robert Pringle, Richmond Parker or Richard Pattenden [Mistruck makers mark] this vesta case was assayed in 1911.

condition
Good - strong hinge & ring. Some light surface scratching, light depressions and small dinks, all commensurate with age and normal everyday use.
A silversmiths mark that is mistruck and could be Robert Pringle, Richmond Parker, Richard Pattenden or others
Rose gold cartouche has been heavily polished and consequently the gold grade mark is indecipherable.
Overall condition is good and mirrors the condition of similar items of a similar age and construction and materials .
