Description
This is a lovely small Sterling Silver Jar, made in the USA between 1890 and 1920. It would be great for storing a cream in or small items such as vitamins.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.
It has a very pretty Sterling Silver lid featuring an ornate Art Nouveau design of a vase with flowers and leaves. The 10 sided glass base is tactile and adds to its appeal and beauty. It has Sterling imprinted on the lid.
The silver is shiny with a little patina in the design that helps to show it well. There’s one larger dent to the side of the lid. The glass is in good condition.
The silver lid weighs 1.8g. and measures 3cm diameter (1 1/8 inches) and 3.4cm in height (1 1/4 inches).
