Antique Sterling Silver Guilloche Enamel Pendant Powder Compact Birmingham 1916

On offer is this antique pendant powder compact made of solid silver and fully hallmarked to the inside of the powder well for Birmingham 1916 with the maker's mark for the silversmith Crisford Norris. This powder compact measures 4.5cm in diameter and has plain silver base and sides with a fixed bale and ring to the top so that the compact could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The inset lid is made of beautiful purple guilloche enamel. The case has firm hinge and secure heart shaped silver catch and opens to reveal a perfectly clear framed glass mirror under the lid, which is clear and reflective. The powder well is empty.
