Antique Victorian Silver Claret Jug - 1891

This is a tall and very elegant antique Victorian sterling silver and glass claret jug made by Heath & Middleston who traded as Hukin & Heath. It has very clear hallmarks both to the body and lid for London 1891. The jug is in very good condition with no damage to either silver or glass and stands fimly on a wide circular base. It has a domed lid which fits perfectly and a substantial loop handle which is securely fixed. A loveley Victorian jug which has clearly had very little use from these well known and respected silversmiths. **Nb any shadows shown in the photographs are merely reflections**
