Description
This is an antique watchmaker's cabinet. An English, mahogany two drawer work chest, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.
Appealingly original presentation with a pair of useful drawers that displays a desirable aged patina with a lightly time worn appearance. Select stocks present rich russet hues throughout and fine grain interest. Flat top surface ideal for assembling and working from.
Pair of graduated drawers useful for watch parts and tools respectively. Each dressed with an inset, brass-lined lock — untested, key absent. Quality drawer boxes with mahogany stocks throughout. Brass drop handles over circular backplates grant access to the drawer.
This is a charming antique watchmaker's cabinet, the wide flat top ideal as a work surface with the useful drawers below. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
