Antwerp Cabinet From The Baroque Period - 18th Century in Boule Marquetry

Superb and unique 18th Century Antwerp Baroque period cabinet with Asian decoration in tortoise shell, pewter and brass ball marquetry, chiselled and gilded bronze ornamentation. The cabinet opens with 6 drawers, two large at the bottom and top and 4 small ones. In its centre a door revealing small drawers The drawers as well as the door depict Asian scenes. At the top, a secret drawer revealing a marquetry depicting a man and a woman. It rests on a black lacquered base with columns ending with balls. (base posterior).
