Description
Offered for your consideration is this art deco powder compact dating circa 1930 / 1940. This powder compact measures 6.5 cm in diameter and is pancake thin. The case is made of gold tone metal with plain base and chased decorative sides. The inset lid has faux guilloche enamel in a bright minty green with lovely pattern and central hand painted cabbage rose.
This powder compact has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective glass mirror under the lid. The open powder well in the base is empty.
