Art Deco 1930s Evans Guilloche Enamel Vanity Case Rouge & Powder Compact

Offered for your consideration is this 1930's Evans vanity case measuring 5.5 cm in width and height and of cushion form. The case is made of chrome metal with cold painted pale green enamel base and top with all four corners in raised chrome deco pattern. The inset lid is designed as a flower lustre cream enamel and chrome. The lid has push button catch and springs open to reveal a powder well in the base covered by a hinged door. This door opens and closes securely to access the now empty powder well beneath. Under the lid is a hinged double sided polished metal door which also acts as the mirror. This door opens and closes correctly and accesses the hidden rouge compartment beneath. This compartment has the full contents of bright pink rouge which is stamped with the Evans name.
