Art Deco Atkinsons Flapper Lady Powder Compact c.1930

Rare Art Deco 1930s Atkinsons powder compact approx. 5cm in diameter and made of polished chrome metal with the company's name engraved in script on the base and surrounded by a wavy zig-zag pattern. The picture lid features a lovely flapper lady's head and the lid is decorated in contrasting colours of cream, red, black and silver. This compact has strong hinge and firm catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed mirror under the lid. The open powder well in the base has an almost full godet of pink pressed powder and the original puff. This art deco powder compact is offered in good condition. The case has no dents or dings and the chrome metal is shiny and clean and free of tarnish. The base has a few scratches and the lovely lid has some slight soiling.
