Description
This elegant 1930s powder compact measures 7.5 cm square and is made of chrome metal with faux snakeskin enamel front and back. The back is plain snakeskin enamel whilst the front has two rows of chrome wavy lines. The case has firm hinge and a decorative flip down catch in cream enamel with chrome lines and border. The case has firm hinges and opens to a very shiny chrome interior with open powder well in the base. The compact retains the original powder sifter. Under the lid is bevelled mirror that has a couple of patches and some desilvering at one edge but still retains a good reflection. The compact is otherwise offered in very good condition with no flaws noted.
