Description
Czech Princess art deco powder compact dating circa 1920 and measuring approx. 6.5 cm in width and is 8.3 cm in height. This powder compact has a fob watch shape and is made of brass metal with deeply engraved scroll work design all over, front and back. The lid is further decorated with applied colourful glass jewels and enamelled accents.
The powder compact opens by pressing on the watch "winder". Under the lid is a clear and reflective framed glass mirror and in the base is an open powder well with original metal rimmed sifter and original puff. The internal rim is marked with a registration design number and the name Princess.
Offered in good condition - The case has no dents or dings, there are no stones missing, the hinge is firm and the catch is secure. The interior mirror is clear and reflective.
