Description
On offer is this most charming Art Deco (circa 1930) vanity case measuring just 5cm in diameter. The case is made of gold tone metal and is completely encrusted in cut and faceted clear paste stones adorning the sides and the lid. The base has a framed bevelled glass mirror.
Hinges and catch are firm and secure and the case opens to reveal an open powder well in the base which retains both the original, clean sifter and puff. Under the lid is a hinged, double sided metal mirror which also acts as the door to the hidden compartment beneath which houses the pressed rouge and original puff.

This delightful vanity compact is offered in very good condition. The case has no dents or dings. There are no missing stones although some of them have age darkening. The mirror on the reverse of the case is clear and reflective. The interior is also in very good, clean condition and the hinged metal mirror has good reflection. Thank you for looking.
