Art Deco Silver Mesh Bottom Powder Compact c.1930

On offer is this circa 1930 silver mesh powder compact which measures 6 cm in diameter across the lid. The lid is cream enamel with central applied silver tone metal plaque with repoussé floral motif. The base of the purse is made of lined silver mesh. The hinged lid opens and closes securely to access the lined purse interior. Under the lid is a clear and reflective framed mirror. The deep powder well is empty of powder and has a linen gauze sifter. This art deco vanity purse is offered in very good condition with no missing or dropped links, no wear to the enamelled lid and clean interior. The mirror has a couple of tiny dark marks but retains a very good reflection.
