Another superb Art Deco circular Tudor rose shaped mirror. A great design from a time of opulence, the inner main mirror plate is circular with a fine bevelled edge.
The outer sections add the colour and design to this beautiful piece. There are eight rose petal shaped mirrored sections surrounding the main plate. They have a pink hue, each individual coloured section is bevel edged, a further quality design element.
The reflectivity of the main plate and each of the outer coloured sections is very good. There are no scratches or loss of silvering. Neither is there any misting or age related marks (see pics) this mirror is in excellent condition.
The centre mirror plate is held in place with chrome capped screws and the outer mirrored sections held in place with metal claw clips which are of the period and quality feature. The nine mirrored pieces are mounted on a wooden backboard, the original fixtures and fittings are attached to the rear too.
