My wife and I have been in the Antiques trade for over 28 years initially in Scotland and for the past few years the Cotswolds. We began trading at fairs as far afield as Edingburgh, Swinderby, Kempton, Ardingly and Detling to name but a few.
For many years from its inception in 1998 until 2018 successfully trading at The Scottish Antique Centre Doune ,selling a broad range of stock with a particular passion for Arts and Crafts furniture and metalware.
Over the years whilst travelling hundreds of thousands of miles in the UK we have gained great experience and a thorough knowledge of the antiques trade.

Description
A wonderful Arts and Crafts needlework sampler titled “I Had A Little Nut Tree,” created around 1927. Worked in various coloured cottons and reflects the design elements typical of the Arts and Crafts movement from the 1920s. The sampler is of British origin and falls under the categories of miscellaneous needlework and sewing.
Completed at The Sydenham High School,London in 1927.
Presented in good antique condition with some minor age related browning to to external borders and set inside a later wood and glazed frame.
