My wife and I have been in the Antiques trade for over 28 years initially in Scotland and for the past few years the Cotswolds. We began trading at fairs as far afield as Edingburgh, Swinderby, Kempton, Ardingly and Detling to name but a few.
For many years from its inception in 1998 until 2018 successfully trading at The Scottish Antique Centre Doune ,selling a broad range of stock with a particular passion for Arts and Crafts furniture and metalware.
Over the years whilst travelling hundreds of thousands of miles in the UK we have gained great experience and a thorough knowledge of the antiques trade.

A charming antique needlework sampler, created around 1857 by Mary Wilford aged 13 features a design that includes dogs, birds, trees, crowns, a verse, and various plant motifs. The piece is made from cotton threads and reflects the artistic styles of the Early Victorian period. Originating from England, it is representative of 19th-century needlework practices.
Presented inside its original wood and glass frame with minor marks and browning to the sampler.
