Arts and Crafts Sideboard

This is a well made oak Arts & Crafts sideboard in the manner of Mackay Baillie Scott, possibly made by Waring & Gillow. The sideboard rests on two sledge feet. This is ebbing towards early Cotswold School. A very unique design. The framework is tenoned through underneath showing a high quality made piece of furniture with exceptional attention to detail and construction. There is one key. The upper cabinet has a lock as does the lower two door part of the sideboard. The oak is very good quality. A great overhang all around. The top has a wooden piece for holding plates or chargers in the centre as does the main surface .There are three as per photos. Both glass doors are single panes of glass despite appearing to be leaded. There is a warm and rich colour to the oak. This is very heavy and covered in dust sheets in situ. The height to main surface above the drawers is 910 mm. The body width is 1515 mm . The cornice width is 1679 mm . The two glass door size is 656 by 385 mm . The depth is 500 plus 27 for the curved centre 527 mm . For more photos it can be taken outside upon request. Now reduced to £275 plus delivery .was £575.
