Bangle Sterling Silver 1960s Vintage Love Heart Expandable Bracelet

Fabulous vintage solid English sterling silver (fully stamped) very attractive and highly ornate chunky expandable love heart bangle/bracelet by Joseph Smith. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7 1/2" / 19cm internal circumference (expands to 8 1/4"), 2.3cm width (taken at the widest part) and weighs a very respectable 11.7 grams. Wonderful diamond cut fancy scrollwork, leaf and 'zig zag' decoration to the front (set upon an attractive engine turned background) which is as bright and crisp today as the day it was made - reflects the light beautifully. Large feature highly polished love heart cartouche to centre which is free from any inscriptions or initials. Fully stamped to the inside; STERLING SILVER MADE IN ENGLAND and carries the makers initials (within recessed, shield shaped cartouche); J.S (Joseph Smith). Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear due to her oval shape. Excellent, bright, clean condition with absolutely no wear, indentations or damage and just a few extremely light and fine (micro) little surface scratches (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age - looks to have had very little use, perhaps only high days and holidays.
