Description
Bilston patch box charming, but battered. These little boxes are becoming increasingly difficult to source, especially with a motto to the lid. This example has damage to the base, see image, the lid bears the motto “The gift is small, respect to all” and a few cracks, see images. The original mercury glass is broken, see image. Battered and beautiful! All my photos are taken using natural light only.
