Bleached Oak Desk 1930s

This beautiful antique desk, crafted from solid English oak and dating back to the 1930s, was originally supplied by the Crown for use in Military or Civil Service. Typically found in Government offices or Public Services such as Civil Servant Offices, schools, and railways, it has been meticulously restored. The oak framework has been refinished in an oak bleach colour, and all drawers, now free-running. They feature their original brass handles beautifully aged. The desk's top has been finished with black faux leather, giving it a refreshed look and making it ready for everyday use. It is indeed a piece of superb quality and a piece of British history.
