Fabulous Vintage solid Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) and egg shell blue Guilloche enamel very attractive and highly unusual panel bracelet depicting the English Tudor Rose and Britannia.
C~1945 (suspect made to commemorate the end of WW2).
Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph.
Measures; 7" / 18cm total length and weighs a heavy 31 grams.
Beautiful crisp slightly convex, highly detailed Sterling silver circular panels (seven in total and each measures 2.5cm length x 2cm width) which alternate from the English Tudor Rose to Britannia surrounded by exquisite eggshell blue Guilloche enamel (which is in perfect condition with no chips or wear).
The back of each panel is smooth, highly polished, free of any inscriptions or initials and are all clearly hallmarked (within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant (Sterling silver) and Leopards head (London assay).
One of the links is fully hallmarked to back (again within different shaped, recessed cartouches) with the Lion passant, Leopards head, Capital letter K - dating her to 1945 and is clearly stamped with the makers initials (within a fancy oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); W&S.
Also carries a registration number; REG845143.
Good original secure push in clasp (operates correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click) and the tongue is again hallmarked with the Lion passant.
Beautifully made and very comfortable to wear.
Excellent bright clean condition with no wear, damage or indentations and just a few overall extremely light and fine little (micro) surface scratches (mainly to the back) commensurate with age.
Looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays.
Will arrive in a new presentation box and be very securely and safely packed.
