Bracelet Sterling Silver Vintage 1970s Curb Link & Love Heart Padlock Heavy 55.9g

Large and highly impressive Vintage solid English Sterling silver (fully hallmarked) Ladies very chunky traditional curb link bracelet with large feature love heart padlock clasp. Ideal to display charms if desired. C~1970's. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 7 1/2" / 19cm total length and weighs a whopping 55.9 grams. Crisp Sterling silver traditional curb links (measure 1.1cm width) which reflects the light beautifully and are all hallmarked (within recessed, square shaped cartouches) with the Lion passant - Sterling silver. The central link is stamped to one side with the makers initials; W.S. Big oval link to each end, again both are hallmarked with the Lion passant. Large feature secure love heart padlock (measures 2.6cm length x 1.7cm width) which is clearly stamped to the back; SILVER. Opens correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click. Still retains her original safety chain (which is correctly threaded through the central link of the padlock) for added piece of mind. Beautifully made (all links are sealed) and very comfortable to wear. Excellent, bright, clean condition with no wear (looks to have had very little use - perhaps only high days and holidays), just a few overall very light and fine little surface scratches and micro indentations to the base of the padlock (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
