Carved Solid Marble Sculpture of Una & The Lion

This is a superb sculpted figure of Una and the lion carved in solid marble dating from around 1930. The fine statue has a lovely appearance and is in very nice clean condition overall. This is well carved with great style and charm particularly to the characterful lion. Una is modelled with a large tree branch over her shoulder and the lion perched on a plinth which is carved with leaves flowers and bunches of grapes. This is a fabulous eye catching garden piece that is a great focal point in a romantic setting or it could be displayed in the home to make a wonderful conversation piece.
