Charming Vintage Sewing Box C1990

This is a charming vintage sewing box made in the 1990s. The box has a hardboard body that is covered in a padded woven bouclé fabric that mimics needlepoint tapestry. The fabric features a floral design in muted tones. The rose patterned fabric is held in place with a metal trim with a plasticized coating for protection. The lift open lid reveals the silky yellow interior, the top edge of the base and the interior of the lid are framed with matching yellow gimp braid. The lid has deep padding to use as a pin cushion, it is pinned into position with gilt brass tacks (a couple are missing). The box is in good used vintage condition.
