Chinese Watercolour Painting on Silk Phoenix

This is a stunning Chinese watercolour on silk of a magnificent Phoenix type exotic bird with wonderful colours to the fine feathers. The bird is depicted on a rock with attractive cherry blossom beneath. The painting is signed by the artist Cheng Yee Yet to the upper right border and has a red seal stamp beneath the signature. There is some slight deterioration to the silk, lower right underneath the signature but this is nicely framed under glass so quite stable.
