Description
Late 19th Century antique vase with a typical glaze and body shape associated with Christopher Dresser (ascribed to Christopher Dresser). Shape no. / model no on the base incised. Lighter glaze at the top turning darker as it reaches the base of the vase. The glaze would suggest Linthorpe and the body would suggest Ault or Linthorpe.
The asking price represents the fact that the vase is not signed, monogrammed or has a makers mark etc.
Many potters of this period used similar glazes, shapes, together with the raw materials for the pottery.
