Description
Claude Hayes (RI, ROI 1852-1922) was a well known landscape painter who was born in Dublin. He was the son of marine artist Edwin Hayes. He studied at Heatherleys and Royal Academy Schools, Antwerp under Verlat and exhibited major London Galleries. Many paintings of the Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire countryside.
