Cobalt Blue Fan Mirror

A classical art deco design, a stunning fan shape with cobalt blue mirrored sections. This mirror consists of three individual pieces, a silver centre plate and two blue coloured mirrored sections. The centre plate is tapered a typical design of the period giving the mirror the appearance of height. It's narrower at the bottom wider at the top with a pointed upper section. It has a polished edge all round. The cobalt blue mirrored sections are also tapered adding to the fan design. These sections have a top cut linear design giving the mirrored section the appearance of three individual pieces. These two pieces have also got a polished edge all round. This Mirror is in good condition, it has a very small nibble on top of one of the blue mirrored pieces, this can be seen on close inspection only and there is a age related mark underneath one of the metal clips along the lower edge. The reflectivity is very good and there are no deep scratches. This is a is stunning deco piece The three mirrored sections are mounted on a wooden backboard and attached with traditional metal clips. The original fixtures and fittings are on the rear also.
