It is the size and proportions of this clock that I find attractive, complimented by the original condition of the brasswork.
The movement looks as though it was made yesterday : it was infact made about 100 years ago by the French clockmaker Samuel Marti.
It is in excellent condition and full working order, striking on a gong.
The dial is convex enamel with no blemishes.
|The case is mahogany with light wood stringers and a cartouche.
There is a small amount of damage on the top of the case at the back.
It comes with a key.
