Corkskrew, London Rack, Double Action

A very fine and now very scarce double action brass corkscrew the London Rack, a very superior corkscrew made circa 1870 complete with its nickel silver turning handle with a pink brass body and lovely yellow brass patent label . These corkscrews are a delight to use, just screw into the cork keep turning then just wind the handle and the cork comes out effortlessly and it looks so good at dinner parties using this antique corkscrew it retains its brush to dust off the top of the cork any dust that may have settled there perhaps in your wine cellar
