Wonderful 19th Century Doulton Lambeth stoneware baluster pitcher with motto that reads 'Good is not good enough The best is not too good', impressed artist signature EB for Ethel Beard, alongside makers mark. Unique opportunity to own this beautifully antique pitcher by one of the most prestigious Doulton artists of the time. Antique vase in good condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, however there are what seems to be manufacture imperfections on the shoulder in the form of spilled excess stoneware material and the rim which is not perfectly flat displaying a couple of bumps, light age related wear, please check photos for details including the imperfections mentioned.
