Early 19th Century Georgian Mahogany 8 Day Small Grandfather Longcase Clock

Charming solid mahogany cased clock with attractive enamelled dial with hand painted floral decoration in the 4 corners. Thomas Ollive of Cranbrook was born Circa 1852 at Lewis (Sussex). Worked at Tenterden Kent and Married 1777. Working Cranbrook Kent 1778-1829 when died. Had a Brother Samuel who worked at Tonbridge Kent. Thomas had two Partners, firstly Thomas Oliver Reader in 1805 and Subsequently with William Birch. Thomas was also a Silversmith and, so, would attract wealthy clients. The 8 day bell striking movement has been checked, serviced and tested to be in good and full antique working order. Please contact Robert via messaging or phone to discuss.
