Description
Well Proportioned Oak Longcase Clock with Swan Neck Pediment, Reeded Mahogany Hood Columns, Full Length Trunk Door with Mahogany Cross Banding. Raised on Splayed Bracket Feet and Topped off with 3 Very Good Quality Heavy Brass Finials.
Height 214cm or 84.25in (Total including Top Finial 224cm)
The 8 Day Bell Striking Movement with Attractive Painted Dial with Both Seconds and Date Subsidiary Dials. Decorated with 2 Exotic Birds, Peony Flowers in Each Corner and Gilt Decoration. Signed Walter Watson "Mirincham" mistakenly for Altrincham, Cheshire, England. He is recorded in Brian Loomes Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World Book Circa 1800.
The Movement has been checked, Services and Tested to be in Good and Full Antique Working Condition.
