Early C20th PATINATED BRONZE Figurine of a Monk with Parasol

For sale is this interesting vintage bronze or brass statue of a portly monk wearing a habit and carrying a parasol and basket. I believe it is British in origin, and was cast in the first half of the 20th century, probably around 1910. It has an applied rich chocolate brown patina and stands about 12 centimeters tall.
