Early Georgian Oak Grandfather Longcase Clock by World Time Clock Maker

Charming oak longcase clock, the brass dial with silver chapter & seconds ring, date window and makers Lozenge - John Taylor of Manchester. He is Listed as working 1745-81 and for making several world time dial clocks. The case is 7ft tall (84in or 103.5) including the stepped top, so, a convenient size for most homes. Good warm colour with attractive graining in good & sound condition. The 30 hour movement has been checked, serviced and tested to be in good and full working order.
