Description
A good quality cut glass decanter from the early Victorian period. This handsome example is a spirit decanter and is of good proportions. The body has panel cutting with portholes and a slice cut neck with a flared collar. The base is star cut and the stopper is the original. The glass is of good quality and clarity. The hallmarked silver Sherry label is of rectangular form with a crimped border and 'Sherry' pierced through the central panel.
An excellent, usable example and a great gift idea.
