Edwardian antique Scottish silver and citrene trinket box, Edinburgh 1904.

A very rare and unusual Edwardian antique silver trinket box. Made in Edinburgh in 1904 with no makers mark but otherwise full set of hallmarks. On top there are four cast panels, two with ornate thistle and two with mythical Celtic beasts. It has a very large citrene sitting in a crown mount on top. Around the base there are four thistles and four engraved letters "HRP". It is fully gilded inside and is in excellent undamaged condition. A stunningly beautiful piece of Edwardian silver.
