Edwardian Mahogany Light Green Button Chaise Longue A beautiful Edwardian mahogany chaise longue, featuring an elegant sweeping design, decorative carved woodwork and lovely light green upholstery. This particularly attractive antique chaise longue has a gracefully shaped, button-back raised end, complemented by a smaller buttoned armrest at the opposite end. The two are connected by a long, gently curved upholstered back rail, supported by decorative pierced mahogany brackets. The beautifully shaped mahogany frame features carved detailing, scrolling ends and elegant cabriole-style legs, giving the piece a wonderfully refined appearance. Upholstered in a soft light green fabric, the chaise has a generously proportioned seat, making it ideal for relaxing with a book or simply adding an elegant decorative feature to a room. A lovely statement piece that would look particularly beautiful in a bedroom, dressing room, drawing room or traditional sitting room.
