Edwardian Pocket Watch Chain Photograph Fob 1900s Antique Gilt Sepia Fob

Antique Gentleman's Edwardian yellow gilt pocket watch chain photograph fob. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 3.6cm height (including the top ring/bail), 2.8cm width and weighs 4.9 grams. Wonderful circular shaped fob with an attractive engine turned rope circumference holding to centre an enamel plaque (amazingly with no damage or fading) depicting a sepia photograph of a very young, earnest looking fair haired girl or boy (very haunting image) with blond locks wearing a white dress (possibly a Christening or Communion picture). The concave back is smooth highly polished and free from any inscriptions or initials. Robust original gilt top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain. Excellent clean and bright condition with just a tiny bit of overall wear/patina and light surface scratches commensurate with age.
