Pocket Watch Chain Silver Photograph Fob 1977 Huge Ornate Victorian Style Fob

Gentleman's extremely large and highly impressive solid silver (fully hallmarked) ornate photograph fob in the Victorian style. C ~ Hallmarked London 1977. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. Measures; 6.1cm height (including the top bail), 3.8cm width, 1cm depth and weighs a heavy 19.5 grams. Wonderful oval shaped fob in the aesthetic /Victorian style which is beautifully and elaborately adorned to the front with leaves and scroll work set upon the raised centre and surrounded by little ball finials to the circumference. The back is smooth, highly polished, free from any inscriptions or initials and carries an attractive scalloped decoration around the circumference. Opens up correctly, closing tightly with a very reassuring click and the hinge is true and firm with absolutely no play. Clearly stamped with the silver purity; 925. Inside are two oval shaped compartments to display photographs of loved ones. Both are lined with opulent lavender coloured baize (which can easily be removed if desired). Wide engine turned bail (sealed link) which is fully hallmarked to the back with the silver purity; 925, carries the import mark (pair of scales) and capital letter; C - London 1977. Also carries the makers initials; C.M.E (C.M.E Jewellery Ltd, Leicester, England). Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage or wear and just some extremely light and fine little (micro) overall surface scratches commensurate with age.
