Elegant Regency Rosewood Chiffonier Cabinet

This is an elegant Regency period chiffonier cabinet in good quality rosewood with bronze mounts. The cabinet has a drawer to the frieze with attractive beadwork detail and bronze anthemion motifs. The doors have bronze grill with fabric panels behind and two shelves inside. This has carved solid rosewood corbels and swept upright supports to the back which houses the original mercury plate mirror glass. This is a very nice original example with a good rich colour and patina. The piece has nice neat proportions.
