Elizabeth II pair of silver and gilt wine coasters, Sheffield 1978

A stunning pair of Elizabeth II silver and parcel gilt wine coasters. Made in Sheffield in 1978/9 by Roberts and Belk. The bases are wooden with green baize bottoms. The body is cast with grape bunches, vine leaves, flowers and shells. The top rim and bottom rim are gilded with gold and there are a full set of hallmarks on the bottom rim. They are in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. Amazing quality, they would make a great addition to any dinning table. Weight; 605 grams or 20 ozst approx. Total weight for the pair.
