ANTIQUE JEWELLERY, FURNITURE AND OBJECTS CURATED BY CONSERVATION AND GEMMOLOGY SPECIALISTS IN GUERNSEY AND LONDON
After years immersed in the dynamic world of London’s antique scene, we felt a call to return to Guernsey, to a quieter, more reflective place where we could cultivate our own vision. Our approach is founded on a deep respect for the history and craftsmanship of each item we encounter, but also an understanding that the antique world must evolve to remain relevant in today’s ever-changing landscape. We are committed to bringing both knowledge and passion to every interaction, ensuring that our clients are as informed as they are inspired by the pieces they acquire.
'Terrou' is the Guernésiais word for 'Always' - a word which resonated strongly with us. We believe antiques should be both appreciated for their heritage and embraced for their ability to contribute to the beauty and functionality of modern life. Our collection represents not only the history of fine jewellery and furniture but also a bridge between past and present. We work with clients to help them see that antiques are not merely relics of the past but treasures that can compliment and enhance the spaces and lives of today.
At the heart of our mission is the desire to make the antique world more accessible and approachable, while preserving the standards of knowledge, care, and expertise that have defined it for centuries.
We invite you to explore our collection, where tradition meets innovation, and where every piece tells a story.

Description
A mosaic of light and colour, this antique emerald and diamond ring presents a richly textured surface that feels both architectural and organic. Crafted in glowing 18ct gold, the rectangular plaque is set with a closely packed constellation of natural emeralds and rose-cut diamonds, arranged in an alternating checkerboard-style carpet.
The design sits at an elegant point of transition, where confident geometry meets delicate ornament. There is a clarity to the form - measured, purposeful, quietly bold - softened by nuance and hand-worked detail. It feels neither rigid nor romantic, but balanced between the two: a piece shaped by a moment when jewellery was beginning to embrace structure without letting go of grace.
The emeralds range subtly in tone, from deep forest to brighter spring green, while the diamonds lend a soft, understated sparkle that catches and releases the light with every movement. The head is finely pierced and sits low and flat to the finger, giving the ring a strong presence without excess height - confident, balanced, and exceptionally wearable.
Measuring approximately 18 × 9.5 mm, it offers substance without bulk; a piece that feels considered on the hand and easy to live with. The richly patinated 18ct gold shank provides a warm, understated counterpoint to the patterned surface above.
A ring of quiet drama and enduring appeal - distinctive, tactile, and unmistakably antique.
